Terms of Service

1. Overview

Frankly provides independent roofing consultation services to homeowners in Southern California. These Terms of Service govern all engagements, including estimate reviews, scope verification, insurance claim support, and on-site consultations.

2. Independent Relationship

Frankly is an independent advisor. We do not sell, install, or broker roofing services. We do not accept commissions, referral fees, or kickbacks from contractors, insurers, or any third party. Our sole duty is to the homeowner who retains us.

3. Fees & Payment

Fees are quoted in writing before work begins. Scope Verification starts at $249. On-site Consultations start at $450. Insurance Claim Support is custom-quoted. Estimate Review uses a win-win fee structure: if savings are identified, Frankly receives a nominal share of the documented savings. All fees are due upon delivery of the written report unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Scope of Services

Our reports are advisory in nature. They do not constitute legal advice, engineering certification, or a guarantee of any specific outcome. We review documents, photos, and site conditions to the best of our ability based on the information provided. We are not responsible for omissions or errors in materials supplied by the client or third parties.

5. Confidentiality

All documents, photos, and communications shared by the client are treated as confidential. We do not share client information with contractors, insurers, or other third parties without explicit written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

Frankly's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to repair costs, project delays, or disputes with contractors or insurers.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
