- What should I upload for a roof estimate review?
- The estimate or proposal itself is the only requirement. Photos of the roof, any inspection report, and prior repair invoices all make the review sharper, but we can start with the estimate alone.
- How long does a roof estimate review take?
- Most written reviews are returned within 48 hours. If you are facing a signing deadline or an active leak, say so and we will try to move it up.
- Will you tell me what my roof should cost?
- We tell you whether the estimate in front of you is consistent with what comparable Southern California work runs, and which line items are driving the number. We do not publish a single price, because roof pricing genuinely varies with pitch, access, material, and deck condition.
- Do you contact my roofing contractor?
- Not unless you ask us to. The review is confidential and the contractor is not notified. Most homeowners take our written questions to the contractor themselves.
- What if the estimate turns out to be a good one?
- Then we say that clearly. We are paid by you, not by contractors, so there is no reason for us to manufacture problems. A clean review is a useful result.
- Do you sell or install roofs?
- No. Frankly does not sell, install, or subcontract roofing work, and we accept no referral fees, commissions, or kickbacks from contractors or suppliers.
